Our plans for Baston
Wates Developments is bringing forward plans for around 280 high quality new homes (including 30% affordable housing) on land off Deeping Road in Baston. The site is identified as a draft allocation in South Kesteven District Council’s emerging Local Plan, meaning the Council has recognised its potential to deliver a range of new homes for first-time buyers, families and those looking to downsize.

Consultation closes.
February 2026
Anticipated submission of an outline planning application for consideration by South Kesteven District Council.
Autumn 2026
Anticipated determination of the proposals by South Kesteven District Council.
2027 onwards
If outline permission is approved, detailed designs for the development will be brought forward through a reserved matters application.
